Pitbull producing Miami-set drama 305

Rapper Pitbull is executive producing a drama series called 305 for Fox. The one-hour drama follows Willy, who is forced to leave his high school to go live with his celebrity chef uncle and attend Miami’s wealthiest private school.

He attempts to acclimate himself to his new surroundings while dealing with relationships, family drama, work, and the problems that more money brings, reported Variety.

Jonathan Levine, who directed the Warm Bodies, will helm the project <g data-gr-id="13">written</g> by Sascha Penn, of Power fame. Pitbull, 34, is Miami’s unofficial pop music ambassador, known by the moniker Mr 305, the city’s area code.
