Pink to record a song for Alice in Wonderland sequel

Singer Pink will write and record an original song that will appear in Disney’s upcoming sequel to 2010 film Alice in Wonderland.

The Just Give Me a Reason singer also will perform a cover of Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit for the marketing campaign of Alice Through the Looking Glass, said The Hollywood Reporter.

“I like quirky and I like weird, and this movie is one of the more quirky and creative stories,” the singer-songwriter said during a Disney-produced featurette.

Alice in Wonderland, which was based on Lewis Carroll’s children’s stories and was directed by Tim Burton, with Mia Wasikowska starring as Alice and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
