Junagarh Fort in Bikaner, Rajasthan, is a rare architecture as it remains unconquered overtime despite several attempts by vicious invaders. Originally called the Chintamani Mahal, the fascinating fort was constructed by the sixth Rajput ruler of Bikaner Raja Rai Singh between 1588 -1593, who accepted the sovereignty of Mughals. Bounded by a moat, the palace complex houses some wonderful marble and red sandstone structures of kiosks, windows, balconies and courtyards.
