Peterson has New Zealand in a spin

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum fell to left-arm spinner Robin Peterson for the third time in as many innings after his team were made to follow on by South Africa on the third day of the second and final Test at St George’s Park.

Peterson struck again when he bowled Kane Williamson shortly before tea. New Zealand were 64 for two at the interval, still needing 340 runs to avoid an innings defeat.

Dale Steyn earlier took five for 17 as Kiwis were bowled out for 121 in their first innings, a deficit of 404.
