People know everything, will give solid reply, says Sisodia

“We have appointed honest officers of the Estate Manager Policy in Delhi government schools, however, LG has consciously given the order of deputation of officers,” said Sisodia who is also the Education minister. Sisodia warned Modi and Jung saying: “People know everything and will give you a solid reply.”

“Hum apki sone ki lanka mein aag laga denge (we will burn your golden Lanka),” he said, pointing towards BJP member Vijender Gupta, adding, “We are not threatened”.

In the Special Assembly Session, Sisodia also said thatVAT collection will be negative this month. “LG has intervened in the working of officers and is not allowing them to perform their duty. Officers who are appointed by us in departments are being threatened by the LG House officials,” said Sisodia.

“Examples of Rajender Kumar and Chetan Sanghi were projected before the Delhi government officers. Whosoever (officer) is working with us are being harassed by the LG House officials,” he added.

Delhi Home minister Satyendar Jain said, after the August 4 verdict of the High Court over power supremacy, now the Delhi government Secretary, Joint Secretary and Additional secretary are deliberately avoiding reporting to their concerned ministers.

Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had appointed a three-member committee to examine over 400 files of decisions taken by the AAP government. Now, the Delhi government officials are busy in sending their files to Raj-Niwas.

“After the notification on Transfer Authority, several officers have been transferred by the LG directly. The files were not even shown to the CM or any minister. Is this Modi model of democracy?,” Jain asked.

The Opposition leader in the Assembly Vijender Gupta lashed out at the AAP government’s style of functionaries. Gupta showed a transfer order, which he said was issued by the Delhi government’s Service Department.

But Satyender Jain pointed out that on the behalf of LG the transfer had been issued. Now, every transfer and posting of IAS, DANICS, All India Service Officers, equivalent officers of central civil services will be done by the LG.

Meanwhile, Delhi finance Minister Manish Sisodia introduced the Delhi Appropriation Bill 2016, the reason for calling the special Assembly session, as the supplementary demand for grants of Rs 140.54 crore for services and purposes of administration of justice, finance, education, medical and public health, social welfare, development and urban development and public works. The Bill was
passed by the House with thumping majority.
