Pawar complains of uneasiness, cuts short visit

Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar complained of uneasiness and cut short his visit to Sangli today and is taking rest at Pune where he arrived in a chopper.

Pawar (72) started feeling uneasy in Kolhapur while he was on his way to Sangli and was examined by local doctors who advised him complete rest, NCP sources said.

The NCP president flew to Pune in a helicopter after addressing a gathering in Kolhapur and went to his residence at Shivajinagar area. Pawar walked to his car after landing in the city and there was no cause of worry, they added.

He was scheduled to address a function at Sangli along with Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav.
