Pawan hans starts Chopper services between Kanpur & Lucknow

The national helicopter company Pawan Hans in collaboration with IIT Kanpur has launched ‘pawanhans-Connect IIT programme. A unique business model which will provide seamless connectivity between Kanpur-Lucknow and other business associates to travel across the locations efficiently in a time bound manner. Pawan Hans chairman and managing director (IAS) Anil Srivastava said that the comapny is proud to be associated with country’s premier institiute.
Over a period of time, Pawan Hans plans to expand its wings in the area of Seaplane services and to provide regional connectivity through small fixed wing aircrafts operations, setting up Helicopters Training & Safety Institute. It also has plans to develop heliports/helipads in the country. Pawan Hans Ltd., a premier helicopter company which is under the administrative control of Ministry of Civil Aviation, has been playing pivotal role in providing air connectivity across the country by way of meeting the vital requirements of offshore operation, regular passenger services particularly in the remote and inaccessible areas of North East Region, intra-city transportation and charter services to promote travel & tourism.
