Pawan Hans plans offshore wing for oil, gas exploration
Helicopter service company Pawan Hans plans to create an offshore wing for oil and gas exploration as well as provide services in various offshore areas, including Goa, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar islands.
In a statement on Tuesday, Pawan Hans said it has outlined the business expansion plans to its stakeholders.
The company plans to diversify its operations into seaplane, fixed wing operations, development of heliports, heli hubs and MRO apart from having skill development facilities.
Pawan Hans has "proposed to create offshore wing covering oil & gas exploration and providing best in class services in other offshore areas such as Goa, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep," according to the statement.
Meanwhile, the company paid a dividend of Rs 3.80 crore to ONGC. The cheque was handed over by Pawan Hans CMD B P Sharma to ONGC CMD D K Sarraf.
