Matthias Paul, better known to the EDM fans (electronic dance music for those who don't know better) Paul Van Dyke, was in Goa recently setting dance floors on fire at Sunburn 2012. We caught up with the DJ and spoke to him about Sunburn, Goa and India. Here are excerpts...
Sunburn is probably the biggest party in India. What does it feel like to be a part of it?
It’s my second time and I have to say, I love it. It’s phenomenal and I can’t wait to be here for the third time.
Despite Bollywood music being quite the currency in the country, how well does House, Psy, Trance and Electronic feature?
There is this whole lot of people who have this love for EDM. And Sunburn is probably the only place where you will see 100,000 EDM fans from across the world.
How does it feel to share the stage with other international artistes?
It’s great to see so much talent across the world. There is so much to learn from everyone around.
