Panic grips Ghaziabad, no damage reported

Residents in Ghaziabad were scared after quake jolted the city, neighbouring the national Capital, on Monday. However, no damage to property or loss of life was reported. According to the police, people rushed out of their offices and residences around 2.45 pm when they were jolted by the tremors. At the main commercial hub of Ghaziabad RDC, where most offices, banks and shopping malls are situated, people came out of the buildings. They returned only after standing in the open for some time.
