Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her split from Chris Martin, saying that she had ‘a year of quiet separation’ from the Coldplay frontman when she was filming Mortdecai in 2012.
The 42-year-old told the Australian magazine Marie Claire in its March issue that she asked her Mortdecai co-star Johnny Depp for break-up advice, reports aceshowbiz.com. Paltrow and Martin, who have two children together, Apple and Moses, have remained amicable exes since splitting in March last year.
