Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire once again by targeting troops in forward area along International Border in Jammu district with small weapons, prompting BSF troops to retaliate.
‘Pakistan rangers resorted to firing by small weapons along the IB in Pindi border belt in R S Pura sector of Jammu district this morning,’ a BSF officer said. Indian troops guarding
the border replied effectively, he said adding that no causality was reported in the exchanges.
In June, Pakistan violated ceasefire five times along LoC and IB in Jammu region.
