Packed schedule makes Cohen miss Django Unchained

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen says he was compelled to opt out of Quentin Tarantino’s western Django Unchained due to his busy schedule.

The actor says he didn’t have time to shoot a scene as he was busy editing and releasing The Dictator and filming Les Miserables. He admits it was a tough decision to have to let the Tarantino film go.

‘I was editing The Dictator and we were very close to release and Paramount wouldn’t push the date, and then I knew I’d have to jump straight from there into Les Miserables,’ deadline.com quoted Cohen as saying.

‘It basically became a choice of either pulling out of Les Miserables or pulling out of Django. I’m sure
Django is an incredible movie, but it was essentially one scene,’ he added.
