Over 200 cops donate blood for dengue patients

A total of 208 Delhi Police personnel on Wednesday donated blood for dengue patients in the national Capital. The policemen donated blood in a camp called “DAAN” in coordination with Red Cross Society for providing blood platelets to the dengue patients. The camp was organised at police headquarters. 

Those who donated blood include Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Deepak Mishra, along with senior officials of the force. Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi, who visited the camp, said: “This is yet another effort by us to contribute meaningfully when Delhi is in the midst of the worst dengue outbreak in the last two decades.”
