Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd. was formed by pioneering individuals who sought to transform the Indian economy. Consistent performance and the will to set new standards have driven the company to new heights of excellence. Started in 1987 as Agarwal Household Carrier with main activity of household goods relocation, it was later renamed Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd. We have always believed in being passionate towards our work and giving the best to the customer. We have forever strived to be Numero Uno in our field.
Twenty-six years is a long time to be in an industry. How has your experience been so far?
It has been a very fulfilling journey. Over the years, we had the courage to take risks in order to expand our business and today we are present in more than 24 states with 103 branches in various cities and have more than 5,500 people working for our organization. At APML we believe in making the moving experience for the customer as easy & hassle free as possible as moving goods in itself is a traumatic experience for many. Our team makes sure to take this worry off the client’s shoulders and make the shifting process as smooth and memorable as possible for them and this has helped us earn the confidence of our clients. We have always tried to give a personal touch in all our dealing with our esteemed clients.
What is the USP of Agarwal Movers Group?
Ours is the only logistics company that has done both forward and backward integration in India. We have our own fleet of trucks, warehouses, drivers and self-owned offices which helps us to reduce the cost and pass on the benefits to our customers. Out of the 1,000 trucks we own, 400 are used dedicatedly as Double Door household carriers.
We provide value added services such as online payment and 24x7 customer service. We handle issues like plumbing and electricity fitting for customers when they move into a new house. We also provide storage facility to our customers who are yet to narrow down on a house.
Can you tell us about the Driver Seva Kendra?
540 people are killed every day in accidents. The main reason is that the truck drivers are unable to sleep properly due to lack of proper resting place. APM Driver Seva Kendra is an initiative towards bringing down this death toll drastically in years to come by providing them with basic facilities for proper sleep, sanitation and entertainment. It was launched at Dudu, Jaipur NH-8 last year.
Who has been your role model in your life?
My inspiration was Late Shri O P Jindal …. He was a great man who has taught me to accept the challenges and get positive results from them. I have always looked up to him as my mentor and much of my success and positivity in life has come from his teachings. He was one person from whom I have learnt that innovation is the key to success and working extraordinarily will reap extraordinary rewards too, mediocrity will only fetch mediocre results in life.
