Open for more TV shows: Govinda

“I’m game for everything which is correct and good. But yes, the show should make me feel that I have something to give to the audience. Then only will I be able to say ‘yes’ to TV shows,” the actor, who was in the capital during the launch of the dance reality show, told IANS.

Govinda’s last appearance on TV was as a host on Jeeto Chappar Phaad Ke in 2001.

On DID Super Moms, Govinda will judge the Zee TV show along with choreographers Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis.

Asked about the reason of giving a nod to DID Super Moms, the actor says his mother was the reason.

“Mother has always been special to me. My mother is very responsible for whatever success I have achieved today, and I’m sure many people will accept that too. A mother is one of the most beautiful creatures made by god. I think this was one of the reasons why I said ‘yes’ to this show,” he said.

Geeta is equally excited about working with Govinda after a long time.

“Govinda sir is the reason why I’m in this field and it’s an honour to work with him through this show. I remember that after watching his dance moves, I was dying to work with him and I got this opportunity during an award function but that was a brief encounter. Today I can say that god always has better plans,” she told IANS. Starting on March 28, the new season has plenty of things to delight dance lovers.
