One Kumbh fire victim succumbs to injury

Out of the eight who were injured in the fire that broke out at the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad, one died on Wednesday morning around 11.30.
The patients who were flown out of Allahabad were admitted at the Safdarjung hospital on Saturday.
According to the medical superintendent of Safdarjung hospital, Dr B D Athani, ‘The patient who deceased was an eight year old girl named Bhumi who was in a very critical situation. The reason for her death is the severe burn injuries. She had suffered 30-60 per cent burn injuries and was admitted in the intensive care unit on Saturday.
According to him, the rest of the patients are still critical and are still admitted in the ICU.
