One killed in mishap

A 35-year-old driver was killed and three others, allegedly drunk, were injured when their speeding SUV rammed into a road divider here, police said on Wednesday. The incident took place last night on Rajesh Pilot Marg - Prithvi Raj Road crossing at 12.05 am. Driver of the SUV Rukam Chand, who resides in Burari, was killed in the incident, police said. He was ferrying three executives of an advertising company to west Delhi after dinner when the incident took place. Overspeeding was said to be cause of the incident. ‘Chand lost control of the SUV while trying to negotiate a turn,’ a senior police official said.
