One dead, three suffer burn injures as house catches fire

A 42-year-old man was killed, while three of his family members suffered injuries when their house caught fire on Sunday in the Chandni Mahal  area. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but the prima facie it seems to be as a case of short-circuit, police said. The incident took place around 5:30 pm and five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. The victims were rushed to the LNJP hospital, where Rashid was declared brought dead, while his family members are undergoing treatment.
