On the right tune

Routes 2 Roots organised an evening for the people of Delhi to witness the soulful melodies of Indian Cinema on the launch of music album Nostalgic Flute Magic by Muktesh Chander, IPS officer.

Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State Tourism and Culture, Govt of India launched the album on 13 August at India Habitat Centre. The event also featured live flute performance by Chander.

The event was graced by the presence of deligated like - Rajeev Bhatia (Director General ICWA), Satish Mehta (Director General ICCR), Ravinder Singh (Secretary, Ministry of Culture), Muktesh Perdesi (Jt. Secretary Ministry of external affairs) and founder of Routes 2 Roots, Rakesh Gupta and Tina Vachani.

Nostalgic Flute Magic is a combination of golden hits of 70’s and contemporary era.

It is a fusion of scintillating music of bollywood songs. Out of the ten songs in the album, nine are old classics and one from a much recent film Ashique 2.
