Occupants of stolen SUV threaten woman with knife in road rage

In a daylight road rage incident, five persons allegedly driving a stolen car hit an SUV at BRT corridor in South Delhi. Shockingly, the occupants of the stolen car broke the windscreen of the SUV when the complainant got down to talk to them.

The incident took place on Monday morning, when the couple were on their way to Alaknanda in south Delhi. While they were at the BRT corridor, a speeding Swift hit couple’s SUV from behind and tried to flee the spot. Neetu, who was driving the car, and the five accused persons had a heated argument. In the meantime, one of them broke the windscreen and threatened Neetu by showing a sharp knife. Neetu’s husband Pawan interrupted and asked his wife to sit in the car. The couple later reached Greater Kailash police station and reported the incident to the cops. A case has been
registered against unknown persons.

Pawan also told police that he had videographed the act on his mobile in which the faces of the accused persons, along with vehicle’s registration number could be seen. During investigation, it was learnt that the vehicle was reported stolen from south Delhi few days ago. ‘We are looking into the case’, police officer said.
