NTPC to donate Rs 10 crore for relief work

NTPC will contribute Rs.10 crore towards relief works in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand. The projects selected for funding assistance would be towards sustainable re-building of infrastructure, which was destroyed during the floods, which has affected Uttarakhand.  The generating stations of NTPC would ensure uninterrupted electricity on top priority basis in consultation with the state government. NTPC has already sent its helicopter to Dehradun for taking part in rescue operation. NTPCians contributed their one-day salary towards extending helping hands to the flood-victims.
