NTPC, Rihand, starts cell phone repairing course for youths

NTPC, Rihand, has started skill development programme under its CSR scheme for the youths of the vicinity in mobile repairing through M/S M.S.M.E. Varanasi. Regional executive director [North] NTPC Ltd. Sharad Anand inaugurated this training programme.

 In his address Anand said ‘In the age of information technology, mobile telephone services become essential for the development of society’. It is a noble effort of NTPC, Rihand towards development of the youths in the vicinity. Such training will provide opportunity to develop their skills’.

He inaugurated the programme and also wished it success. General manager I C Ramesh also addressed the function and said the unit was committed to continuing such training programmes through its CSR scheme for those living in the villages in the ares.

The programme started with Rajneesh Rastogi AGM[HR] welcoming the chief guest, other senior officials of NTPC, Rihand, the villagers, union and associations, media representatives and participants.

Harbans Singh, general manager [Project], S K Sinha general manager [O&M], Rajkumar, general manager [TS], P K Chakraborty general manager [P], other senior officers, villagers, participants and union and associations were present during the function.
