Now, never miss out on Mamata’s tweets

It’s pretty simple. One just needs to leave a missed call on 01130083333.

A person will start receiving alerts on their cell phones after giving a missed call to the phone number whenever Banerjee tweets on the micro blogging website. Soon after getting the alert one can log into the micro blogging website to check what she has tweeted and read out her message.

The system will help people to know what that Chief Minister has tweeted within a few seconds even if they are busy in some work.

It may be mentioned that Banerjee had joined Twitter on January 1, 2015. January 1 is the foundation day of the Trinamool Congress. In her first tweet she had greeted people on New Year in 2015.

In the past one year, till January 1, 2016, Mamata’s Twitter followers have surged to 2.1 lakh @Mamataofficial and 1170 posts.

She had paid homage to departed luminaries via her twitter handle. She also congratulated and greeted people for their success in their respective fields including sports and politics.

She had tweeted on various issues including politics. Most importantly, she had shared news on development of the state. Banerjee had congratulated Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav after their victory in Assembly elections in Bihar. She had tweeted: “Congratulations @ NitishKumar ji, Laluji and your full team. And all my Bihar brothers and sisters. Victory of tolerance, defeat of intolerance.” She had also tweeted in support of Aamir Khan on the intolerance issue.

Some more issues on which Banerjee had tweeted included the Centre’s interference and the state government’s decision to declassify the files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

In this connection she had tweeted: “Today is a historic day. Our government has made all Netaji files public. People have a right to know about the brave son of India.”
