Now, mobile apps for feedback on DDA flats, sports complexes

Weeks after announcing the launch of mobile apps for the sake of allotees, visitors and staff, Delhi Development Authority on Monday launched as many as four mobile applications live on its website after taking feedback from the users for the improvement in the test applications that were earlier put up on website. These applications are engineering measurement books, feedback on sports complexes and golf courses, feedback on community halls and DDA housing scheme 2014.

The DDA officials informed that of these applications, three are regarding feedback on sports complexes and golf courses, community halls and DDA housing scheme and are basically for evaluating and rating the various users’ facilities created for the citizens. “Through this application, actual measurements after construction by the contractor — which were being recorded manually through a logbook — will now be captured in real time through a mobile by uploading all measurements and materials used, on the website. All the measurements along with coordinates of the person uploading, will give details of the materials used, area covered and the stage of construction,” said an official.

The sports complex application can be downloaded on phone from the website or viewed on the desktop. The person providing feedback has to give details like address, name, e-mail ID, mobile number, locality etc after identifying the sports complex / golf course about which the feedback is being given. DDA has constructed about 100 community halls in various localities where social functions and get-togethers are held. An application has also been developed to get feedback on their functioning and maintenance. For accessing the community hall application, one has to create a login ID and password by giving full name, contact number, e-mail address and full address. After getting the password and ID one can log in for the specific hall and parameters such as air-conditioning, bathroom condition, he said.

“In the case of web-based application for DDA Housing Scheme, one can log in after giving one’s application number. On giving the application number, the full details as given in the application form by the applicant, will appear and then the parameters under two heads construction and maintenance — can be accessed,” added the official.
