Western Uttar Pradesh power distribution board Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited has decided to launch five cash vans in Ghaziabad region to facilitate electric bill payment system. The board took this easy-going initiative to make people get rid of the long queues outside the electricity department for bill payments. These vans will be mobile in all the colonies of the district.
PVVNL has initiated a flexible system of bill payment in the hot city Ghaziabad. The region is now blessed with five cash vans from which one will be placed in Pratap Vihar region, two in Loni and two in Sahibabad region where people can easily make bill payments. The board also approved arrival of 15 vans to be placed in the nearby rural areas by the next week. This facility also came with a clause for the working people who don’t get time to stand in queue. In that case. All vans will work upon an online system where people can get the receipt of the bill paid.
PVVNL Director, Commercial Arvind Rajdevi said: “We have provided cash van facility in Ghaziabad region only but we are planning to launch one van separately in Khurja, Sikandrabad, Dibai, Pilakhuwa, Garhmukhteshwar regions while two vans in the Bulandshahr District.”
