Notice to BJP MP to vacate govt bungalow

The Delhi government has issued a notice to six-term BJP MP and former opposition leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra to vacate his government bungalow by April 30 and he will have to pay Rs 7.12 lakh of outstanding bill to the Delhi Public Works department. Malhotra was appointed as Delhi Vidhan Sabha’s opposition leader in the 2008 Assembly polls. He had been residing in 6 BD Marg, New Delhi, for 25 years. Malhotra has been illegally occupying the bungalow since January 15, 2014. According to the Delhi government’s official sources, accommodation for the next two months has been extended to Malhotra on condition that he will have to pay the all outstanding bill within 15 days.
