North MCD to digitise property records

Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Ravinder Gupta, on Tuesday informed that the Corporation will digitise all records of properties and maintain it in electronic form. He said that the digitisation of property tax records will help in reducing storage space and will reduce the time taken to search through the records in order to retrieve a particular file. Gupta said that demand and collection registers and G-8 receipts will also be stored in electronic form.
