North mcd claims to have inspected 65k houses of breeding

North MCD has claimed that its DBC workers have inspected 65,068 households to check mosquito breeding in its areas out of which mosquito breeding cases were reported from 499 houses. 

The Corporation also claimed that 33,622 houses were covered under its fogging programme so far. 

There are 207 cases of chikungunya in its hospitals while 519 suspected patients are under medical supervision. Similarly, in Kasturba hospital 26 cases of chikungunya are confirmed while 117 cases are suspected.
