Nonsense Alert!

They know how to make people laugh, they know how to say grave things lightly. They know how to tickle your funny bone without trying and they know they are Bakchods and they performed in Blue Frog on Wednesday night.

Started by Tanmay Bhatt and Gursimran Khamba, this group has four members- Gursimran, Tanmay, Rohan and Ashish. All India Bakchod was in city to perform at Blue Frog, we caught hold of them before the show for a candid chat. Here are excerpts...

Tell us about the inception of All India Bakchod (AIB) live?
We were stand up comedians already. Last year, we thought about why not air shows where we can do standup comedy acts, games and also reach out to them. We started with Royal Turds which people liked and numerous acts followed it.

Where did you guys get your themes from?
We all are different people some of us like dark humour, some of us like light comedy when we come together, we put different things and ideas on table some are fun, edgy and some are very juvenile. We talk about what's going on, sometimes make sarcasm about issues in news. We interact with people on stage, play games, have fun with them.

The recent video 'It's my fault' went viral, how do you came up with that?
We wanted to do something about the whole woman issue on our AIB-365 series. 'It's my fault' was the first episode of that series. So, instead of being preachy about rape issue, we inverted the positions. Kalki Koechlin and VJ Juhi enacted it well and we got a response which we didn't expect.

What are you planning next in the series?
Well, as government wants to ban pornography. We for now are just trying to think about a life without porn and we shall soon come up with something on the same.
