Noida circle rates go up from today

The properties have become costlier in the city from Wednesday because the government has decided to implement the revised circle rates.
‘The new circle rates have been increased from 20 to 25 per cent for various sectors,’ said Kumar Ravikant, district magistrate Gautam Buddha Nagar. The district is divided into four circles for the purpose of charging registration fee on property registration — Noida, Greater Noida, Jewar and Dadri.

However, residential flats in Noida have been exempted from this hike as the authority had recently revised the rates.
Farmers will also have to shell out 12 per cent more stamp fee for getting the developed plots in exchange of land acquired by the government or authority.
