No. of issues of HP govt resolved during meeting with NITI Aayog

A number of issues, including education, skill development, rural development, home affairs, tourism and textiles were resolved during a meeting between high-level delegation of Himachal Government and representatives of various Union ministries convened by NITI Aayog.

Representatives of various ministries requested the state government to re-submit their proposals with requisite information and modifications.

The meeting convened at the request of Chief minister Virbhadra singh was presided over by Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog Arvind Panagariya. Representatives from the various Ministries/Departments were present at the meeting, an official release here said.

Regarding upgradation of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare suggested the state government to change the project site. The idea was agreed by the state government and it was informed that out of nine trauma care facilities requested by the state, an MoU has been signed for five centres.
