No city can guarantee 100% safety for women, says top cop’s daughter

Why criticise Delhi? No city in the world can guarantee hundred per cent safety for women,’ says Ankita Kumar, daughter of Delhi police commissioner Neeraj Kumar. ‘Performing in Delhi is as good or bad as any other part of the world,’ said the 28-year-old pianist.
‘No city and no government can guarantee you 100 per cent safety in any part of the world. I have always performed in Delhi. I have done more then 20 performances. Performing here has always been a pleasure,’ she said. ‘It’s just that the media highlights the negative aspects and makes juicy stories, not everyone sees exactly like that,’ she said of Delhi.
