Next Gen Bhonsle goes on air

Her grandmother has enthralled the nation for long with her mellifluous voice, now it is her turn. Zanai, legendary singer Asha Bhonsle’s 10-year-old granddaughter, did her first-ever recording for the anti-piracy anthem Salaami Ho Jaye.
To take care of nervousness jitters, grandma Asha was with Zanai throughout the recording. Zanai is the seventh artiste to be featured in the song for which top-notch names like Sonu Nigam, Mohit Chauhan, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher and Sunidhi Chauhan are collaborating.
Salaami Ho Jaye has been conceived and composed by composer Shamir Tandon and will be released by Universal Music. The anthem appeals to music fans about how illegal modes of acquiring music impacts their creativity. The song intends to create a counterpoint to online piracy.
