A 37-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by two brothers in South-west Delhi’s Kapashera area on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. Police said that this was not the first time when the victim and the accused had entered an argument.

Police said that the victim, Faguni Mehto, owned a grocery shop in the area and the accused, Mannu Malik (20) and Vijender Singh Poonia (19), were employees at a movers and packers office that was situated opposite their shop.

Mehto’s nephew informed the police about what he had seen as soon as they reached the spot, after which they rushed Mehto to a private hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors.
A team was formed to nab the accused persons and within a couple of hours, the duo was nabbed,” said Surender Kumar, DCP (South-west).
