New Year’s Eve: Police issue traffic advisory

The Mehrauli Gurgaon Road stretch between hotel Bristol to IFFCO Chowk will be a No Drive zone from 5 pm to 2 am on New Year’s Eve, informed Gurgaon Police on Tuesday.
He further mentioned about parking arrangements for people who come to celebrate New Year in and around MG Road. For vehicles coming from Gurgaon parking arrangement will be made at the Leisure Valley Ground Parking. Vehicles coming from the other said, can be parked near the metro station at MG Road.
From 8.30 pm on the New Year’s Eve, traffic restrictions shall be imposed in the vicinity of Connaught Place in the heart of the national capital, Delhi Traffic Police said on Tuesday.
As per the aforementioned restriction, no vehicle shall be allowed to proceed towards CP beyond Mandi House, Bengali Market, north foot of Ranjit Singh flyover, the DDU Marg — Minto Road crossing.
