Network18 Media Q2 net loss at Rs 66 cr

Network18 Media and Investments on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 66.53 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had registered a consolidated net loss of Rs 39.17 crore in the year-ago period, it said in BSE filing.

The firm's total income from operations for the September quarter stood at Rs 378.66 crore. It was Rs 366.82 crore during the same period previous fiscal.

For the half year ended September 30, 2016, the company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 116.23 crore as against net profit of Rs 3.67 crore in the same period a year ago.

Its total income from operations the six month period ended September 30, 2016, stood at Rs 730.55 crore. It was Rs 777.91 crore during the same period previous fiscal.

Shares of Network 18 closed 2.62 per cent down at Rs 50.25 apiece on BSE.
