To prevent corrupt from depositing money abroad, the priority of the BJP government, if formed at the Centre, would be on bringing back black money parked in foreign banks, he said.
Addressing public gathering in Rajasthan’s Bikaner division, Modi attacked Congress on several issues and termed it as a party of ‘Behrupiyas’ (impostors).
Accusing the government of ignoring interests of farmers, the Gujarat chief minister said that it imposes duty on cotton and gives subsidy on mutton export.
‘No country can progress if the growth in agriculture, industrial and service sectors is stalled. In India, due to wrong policies of the government, growth rate has come down,’ Modi said.
‘Farmers do not get adequate price of their crops...because government polices are anti-farmers. Subsidy is given on mutton export whereas duty is imposed on cotton. What should be avoided is actually being done by the government,’ he said.
