NDMC to start smart education system in 30 schools

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has chosen Extramarks Education to introduce ‘Extramarks Smart Class’ in 444 classes covering 30 NDMC schools under its jurisdiction in the first phase. 

Under the initiative, Extramarks will undertake the work, consisting supply, installation, commissioning and functioning of hardware and uploading of educational digital content. The integration of Educational Digital content will be provided in both Hindi and English for Classes 6 to 12.

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu, along with NDMC chairperson Naresh Kumar and MoS (Independent Charge)-Statistics and Programme Implementation, Planning and Defence Rao Inderjit Singh, unveiled NP Co-ed Secondary School at Kidwai Nagar, Delhi with ‘Extramarks Smart Class’, today which is a newly build school.

Taking forward Prime Minister Modi’s dream of Digital India, this is a progressive step in that direction. 

By introducing e-learning system in 30 NDMC schools, NDMC endeavour to enrich the students and the teacher communities by providing various learning and teaching resources to support and complement the existing curriculum.
