NDMC ready to welcome cyclists at connaught place

With the aim to create awareness regarding Swachh Bharat Mission across the country, the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India has organised a Cycle Rally.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), on Friday claimed to undertake the necessary arrangements for the rally at Connaught Place’s Inner Circle wherein the rally will be flagged off at 7:30 am and it will proceed to Neemrana in Rajasthan on Sunday, November 13.
The Secretary informed that the Cycle Rally consisting of 22 cyclists have already been kicked off on November 7 from Jammu which will reach Connaught Place on November 13. Chanchal Yadav, Secretary of the NDMC, said that the cyclists will cover 4,500 kms in 33 days with 27 flag-off points in different states of the country and added that it will travel through Delhi, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Â Thiruvananthapuram and culminate at Kanyakumari on December 9.
