NDMC organises workshop on digital literacy

New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Thursday organised a workshop for educating its employees on financial transactions and digital literacy at Talkatora Stadium. On this occasion, presentations were made by representatives of both nationalised and private banks.

“The efforts of NDMC to educate its employees for using digital means and cashless transactions in their daily life is highly commendable,” said Meenakshi Lekhi, MP, New Delhi and Member in Council. She further added that it will not only help to create a corruption-free society but will also help to curb eradicate fraud to a great extent.

On this occasion, the presentation was made by the representatives of State Bank of India, HDFC, ICICI, AXIS Bank and Paytm about different modes of payments which citizens can use for making their payments without hassles. It was attended by Chairman, NDMC, Naresh Kumar; Secretary, Chanchal Yadav along with all heads of departments and personnel of NDMC.
