NBCC to help build 200-bed hospital

The national capital’s health minister Dr. AK Walia on Tuesday informed that the Delhi government has engaged National Building Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) for the construction of 200-bed multi-speciality hospital at Ambedkar Nagar in south Delhi.
A memorandum of agreement was signed on Tuesday between the government of Delhi and NBCC for the project. ‘The hospital will be a multi-speciality hospital with services such as OPD, IPD, OT, Emergency and others, Walia said.
Walia further informed that the hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs 128 crore and will be funded by the Delhi State Health Mission. The construction of the hospital is likely to be completed within two years.
