‘Nawazuddin is still humble and grounded’

She has worked with him in nearly five films and producer Guneet Monga says actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is still “humble and grounded” despite starring in some big-budget movies.

Guneet has produced films like The Lunchbox and Nawazuddin’s next, Haraamkhor.

“Before a shot, you will not see him (Nawazuddin) around much, but as soon as the camera rolls, he emerges with his performance and bowls you over. After the shot, he will disappear again. “He likes to be a nobody. And has still been the most supportive actor I have worked with. I feel very fortunate,” said Guneet.

The producer says nothing much has changed in the Manjhi: The Mountain Man actor over the years as a person.

“Nawazuddin is one of the most wonderful, grounded and humble persons. Over the years, nothing much has changed in him. When it comes to him as an actor, he is doing bigger films now but as a person, he is still the same and that is wonderful.”
