Three Rajasthan mishaps leave 12 dead; 5 kids among victims
Twelve persons, including 5 children. were killed in three separate road accidents in Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. Five persons, including three women, were killed and 19 others injured when a truck hit a tractor trolley they were travelling in.
The accident occurred last night near Bamla village in Baran district when the victims were on their way to a nearby place, police said.
Madan (22), Kesar Bai Gujar (70), Ravi Shankar (55), Bhuriya (15) and Dipika (13) were killed in the accident, they said. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital where their condition is learnt to be stable.
The bodies have been handed over to family members after postmortem, the police said. In Sikar district, three persons were killed when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided with a truck early today.
