There should be no politics on development: Mahajan

New Delhi: Strongly advocated the approach for universal development, Lok Sabha Speaker and Chairperson of India Region of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Sumitra Mahajan on Saturday said there should not be any politics on the issue and it must be achieved with cooperation of all.
While inaugurating the 6th conference of India Region CPA here, which is being organised for the first time in Bihar's capital city Patna, Mahajan said, "All efforts should be made for sustainable development. Only achieving the stage of being developed was not important, it should be ensured that development could remain sustainable."
"We can adopt the approach for universal development with justice to all", Mahajan said adding that this goal could be achieved only with the cooperation of all and there should not be any politics over the issue.
The Lok Sabha Speaker said rains did not discriminate in any region on any line and in the same mode, development should also reach every corner without any sort of discrimination.
