TDP MLC Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu passes away
Hyderabad: Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and MLC Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu MLC passed away at a private hospital here while undergoing treatment for high dengue fever.
Naidu who is residing at Padmavathipuram in Tirupati of Chittoor district had joined in a private hospital here due to fever on Sunday. However, he breathed his last due to multi-organ failure after midnight on Tuesday.
He was 70 and survived by wife, two sons and two daughters.
Born at Venkatramapuram of Ramachandrapuram Mandal in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on June 9, 1947, Naidu joined Telugu Desam Party founded by late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in the year 1983.
He won as MLA of TDP for six times from Puttoor Assembly Constituency and held the Ministry posts of Education, Higher Education and Forest.
His funeral will be held at his native place Venkatramapuram, family sources said.
