PM meets delegation from Vivekananda Kendra

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a delegation from Vivekananda Kendra on Tuesday and conveyed his best wishes for their mass contact programme 'Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat'.

"I had an excellent meeting with a delegation from the @vkendra. In addition to talking about the exemplary work they do, they spoke to me about a unique mass contact programme they have started, Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat.' My best wishes for the endeavour," Modi said in a tweet.

The year-long country-wide contact programme started on Monday to celebrate the 50th year of Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari.

In another tweet, the prime minister said the memorial gives energy and inspiration to millions of youngsters.

A delegation from Vivekananda Kendra had also met President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday.
