Now, Shami's wife accuses him of match-fixing, files complaint

New Delhi: After alleging Mohammad Shami of domestic violence and extramarital affairs, Hasin Jahan, wife of ace Indian pacer, on Thursday made yet another revelation that Shami involved in match-fixing, saying that he took money from a Pakistani girl name Alishba, which was delivered to him by a man, called Mohammad Bhai, who stays in the UK.

Jahan triggered a massive controversy on Wednesday as she publicly accused her husband of torture and extramarital affairs with multiple women. The incident made headlines after Hasin hit out at Shami in a series of posts on her Facebook page.

When asked about Shami's reaction to her allegations as a conspiracy against him, Hasin reportedly told news agency, "Shami is the one who is a liar. I feel there's a conspiracy from Shami's end. Or it could also be a conspiracy from Pakistan. "When asked why she mentioned Pakistan, Hasin added, "Because Alishba is a girl who lives in Karachi in Pakistan. Shami calls her, books a room for her, has relations with her. Then Shami tells that Alishba also gave him money. Mohammad Bhai, who stays in UK, got money delivered through Alishba to Shami. "

Hasin, who has been married to Shami since 2014, went a step ahead as she said that the 27-year-old can also cheat the country, the way he has cheated her.

"If he can cheat upon me, he can cheat the country as well," she added.

Meanwhile, Hasin Jahan has lodged a complaint against Shami at Lalbazar police station in Kolkata on Thursday after accusing him of infidelity and domestic violence.

Earlier on Wednesday, Jahan met senior cops in her lawyer's presence during her three-and-a-half-hour visit, which came a day after she posted a series of screenshots of text messages on Facebook, claiming that they were conversations between Shami and other women. Jahan, 26, a former model and KKR cheerleader, met Shami in 2011. They got married a year later and have a four-year-old daughter.

Jahan alleged that Shami had relations with many women in cities like Nagpur, Indore, Bangalore and Pune. "He regularly calls these women to his hotel rooms whenever he is visiting these cities.
