NEET exam to be conducted in 103 cities this time : Javadekar
The government has increased the number of cities where the NEET examination would be conducted from 80 to 103 to make it easier for the students to reach the venues. A mobile app has also been developed to help the nearly 12 lakh students, who are expected to take the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test or NEET, locate the nearest test venue.
"The NEET examination, which is a medical entrance test that was conducted by the CBSE, got a better response. Therefore we have increased number of city centres," HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar told reporters outside the Parliament.
