Multiple attacks on security forces in Kashmir

Multiple incidents of terrorists targeting security forces were reported from across Kashmir on Tuesday. There were reports of six different attacks in the span of as many hours on Tuesday evening. Terrorists targeted Central Reserve
Police Force (CRPF) camps and a police station. Earlier in the evening, the encampment of the CRPF's 180th battalion in Pulwama district's Tral area was attacked by terrorists, who tossed a grenade into the camp before fleeing.

Ten jawans were wounded, three of them critically, in the explosion. They were taken to a hospital and the area around the camp was cordoned off to nab the terrorists.

In a separate incident, motorcycle-borne terrorists lobbed a grenade at a CRPF company at Padgampora in Pulwama. No injuries or casualties were reported.
This was followed by the third incident in a day, as terrorists hurled a grenade at a police station in Pulwama.


Meanwhile in Anantnag district, a similar incident occured when militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF camp in the Sarnal area.
